Eric Schwartz

Managing Director

Eric focuses on matters involving banking strategy, balance-sheet management, liquidity, and market risk. He advises foreign and domestic financial institutions in these areas, as well as on strategic matters such as regulatory applications, business plans, acquisitions, and enforcement actions.


Eric was a founding employee and manager at Promontory Interfinancial Network, a financial services firm specializing in innovative investment and cash-management products for the banking and brokerage industries. During his tenure at the firm, he served in various product-development and management roles. He also handled the day-to-day operations of the firm’s deposit-sweep product and managed the origination process for billions of dollars in bank wholesale funding. He also was a charter member of the firm’s operational risk management committee. Eric began his career at Promontory Financial Group, where he worked on the firm’s strategic planning and merchant-banking activities.
