Timothy Martins

Senior Principal

Tim is a member of Promontory’s Enforcement Advisory and Credit Risk Services practices, providing clients with risk diagnostic and remediation services aimed preempting the need for and complying with regulatory enforcement actions. Much of his work also centers around mitigating the severity of enforcement actions. In nearly a decade with Promontory, he has provided clients solutions for credit, compliance, enterprise-risk management, and audit-related regulatory remediation efforts.

Experience

Prior to joining Promontory, Tim worked as an intern at the Center for Public Opinion at Elon University, where assisted the center’s efforts of polling and assessing the opinions of North Carolina voters on a variety of political issues. He also assisted in the center’s data collection and assessment efforts for use in the preparation of summary and informative articles for distribution in major newspapers and various Capitol Hill publications. Tim has also served as associate editor of issues in Political Economy, the nation’s oldest undergraduate economics journal, and has presented original research at various economics conferences.
