Christine Helbing Livingston

Principal

Christy helps firms navigate complex regulatory issues, including those emerging from Dodd-Frank rulemaking. Before working at Promontory, she served as a presidential management fellow at the U.S. Department of Treasury, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Experience

Prior to joining Promontory Financial Group, Christy served as a presidential management fellow at the Department of Treasury, including rotations to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. At the Department of Treasury, her economic analysis supported debt issuance decisions. She also helped the debt management office modernize its information technology infrastructure. During the financial crisis, Christy assisted implementation of the Capital Purchase Program, which injected capital into banks across the country. At the FDIC and CFTC, Christy performed securities-related research to support the agencies’ respective chief economists.
