At Promontory he has helped a number of clients in Australasia and Africa to meet regulatory expectations and emerging regulatory initiatives and advised on organizational governance, risk management, and strategy. The projects were undertaken through a research grant awarded by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. He was also a teaching assistant for banking and finance courses at the university. Akash earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce, with first-class honors, from Monash University, where he was awarded a number of scholarships.
