Joseph Sergienko

Director

Joe helps clients review and enhance their capital-planning and stress-testing frameworks, as well as carry out comprehensive implementations. He has experience with U.S., U.K., and European Union governance and reporting requirements; workflow and procedure development; and the creation and refinement of stress-test submission content.

Experience

Joe has worked with clients to develop robust capital-planning and stress-testing frameworks that meet regulatory expectations for Dodd-Frank Act stress testing and the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review. He works with clients on the end-to-end process of capital planning and stress testing, establishing processes for identifying material risks, risk quantification, governance, and reporting. Joe has led several engagements to define data-governance frameworks and document the data workflows supporting CCAR and DFAST processes.

Prior to joining Promontory, he spent 13 years in the financial services industry. At State Street Corp., he was involved in the implementation of the Basel II capital framework, as well as the development and implementation of a robust stress-testing framework to address dynamic business challenges and meet regulatory expectations.
