Eduardo specializes in capital and liquidity planning; economic capital and stress testing; risk management tools, policies, and procedures; distressed-asset valuation; and forensic analysis for retail and corporate credit portfolios. He helps clients implement innovative solutions with a pragmatic approach.
Before joining Promontory, Eduardo worked for UBS, where he focused on economic capital, country risk, and risk-adjusted return on capital. At Barclays Capital, he was head of credit risk, economic capital, stress testing, and derivatives-model monitoring. He also worked for Oliver Wyman, where he was involved in capital planning and management, regulatory compliance, and analytic solutions.

He is a lecturer in finance at IE Business School, where he teaches a course on the valuation of distressed-asset portfolios. He has spoken at conferences on subjects like derivatives backtesting and stress testing. He is also a trustee at the nonprofit organization CESAL, focused on financing development projects in Latin America, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
