Shelby Schwartz
Compliance Program Manager
Shelby provides support and management of Promontory's internal compliance program. Prior to this role, she gained a broad understanding of Promontory's structure, strengths, and challenges by providing primary support to the Office of the Chief Executive. She also brings a valuable background and perspective in employment law.
Prior to joining Promontory, Shelby worked as an attorney in Philadelphia at Littler Mendelson P.C., a law firm specializing in labor and employment law, where she investigated and defended claims before federal, state, and agency tribunals. She also previously served as law clerk to the Hon. Harvey Bartle III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Shelby attended Columbia Law School, where she was a Kent scholar, a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar, and the alumni liaison and senior staff editor of the Columbia Law Review, as well as the recipient of the Emil Schlesinger Labor Law Prize and a public-service fellowship.
