Laura Bray
Managing Director
Laura draws on her broad experience in banking and consulting to advise Promontory clients on implementing enterprisewide change and meet regulatory requirements, improve efficiency, reduce risk and complexity, and enable growth.
Prior to joining Promontory, she was an executive director in the chief operating officer's re-engineering group at Morgan Stanley, where she led the development and execution of a firmwide brokerage, clearing, and exchange strategy for the equities, fixed-income, foreign-exchange, and commodities divisions. Laura also helped the institutional business carry out a broad cost-cutting strategy to improve operating margins, and she oversaw the launch of a broker-dealer business in Mexico that allowed Morgan Stanley to operate sales and trading desks, underwrite equity transactions, and meet its emerging-market growth objectives in the country. She began her career in Accenture's management-consulting practice, focusing on broad-scale transformation programs for industry-leading clients in banking, communications, media, technology, energy, and consumer goods and services.
