Arion Petasis


Arion works in Promontory’s Dubai office, where he advises clients in the fields of risk management and organization, helping international banks improve performance and align operating models with strategy. He also assists them in navigating complex regulatory and operational matters related to anti-money laundering and other compliance issues.


Prior to joining Promontory, Arion was director of his own management consulting firm, where he assisted clients in the Middle East with organizational and strategy issues. Previously, he was a Virginia-based consultant in the enterprise resilience group at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he advised clients in the private and government sectors on risk management strategies. His study on causes of shareholder value destruction in major corporations was featured in leading print and television media in the United States. Arion began his career in the risk group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago.
