Promontory’s Kenesa Ahmad Honored for Outstanding Paper on Privacy

A paper co-written by Promontory Associate  Kenesa Ahmad has been selected as on the eight outstanding privacy policy writings of 2012 by The Future of Privacy Forum, a think tank based in Washington, D.C. Ms. Ahmad and her co-author, privacy and cybersecurity expert Peter Swire, will be among the writers honored on November 7 at a reception in Washington. The paper, “’Going Dark’ Versus a ‘Golden Age for Surveillance’,” can be found here and the press release announcing its selection is here. Ms. Ahmad, an attorney, is a member of Promontory’s Privacy and Data Protection practice. She is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
