Jon Mitchell

Principal

Mr. Mitchell assists clients with risk management and strategic advisory matters.

Prior to joining Promontory, Mr. Mitchell was an attorney at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he worked in the Legislative and Regulatory Activities Division of the Law Department. In that role, Mr. Mitchell assisted with a variety of legal matters, such as developing a model privacy disclosure form, drafting opinions on the applicability of specific state laws to national banks, and pursuing enforcement actions against institution-affiliated parties.

Mr. Mitchell received his J.D. from New York University and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Cornell University.
