Mr. Carmichael is the Chief Operating Officer of Promontory Financial Group Australasia (PFGA) headquartered in Singapore. He serves as regional head of the Promontory teams responsible for Risk Advisory and Training, Project Management, Client Services and Technology in Asia.

Before joining PFGA, Mr. Carmichael was Director of Commercial Banking at RiskMetrics Group (RMG), with global responsibility for the development and delivery of products and services to RMG’s commercial banking clients. In 2001, he co-founded RMG’s Asia Pacific division.

Mr. Carmichael has been a regular speaker at financial conferences in Asia and holds an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.
